PHOTO SUBMISSIONS
Note that Terratory Journal is a community that is dedicated exclusively to the promotion of landscape photography. The Journal is a publishing platform for photographers that are interested in documenting humans interactions with land. Thus, as a photographic community, we seek to depict human relationships within the context of landscape and altered space. Please keep this is mind when answering step one below.
1. Write a short bio or introduction describing yourself, your photography style, and briefly describe how your work fits in with the Terratory community as noted above.
- If you are submitting a pitch for a photo essay or story ideas, please also include a 200 word abstract on the project and 3-5 relevant pics in the format noted below. If you are submitting a series that has already been completed, it must have not been published elsewhere previously (including online). If you have multiple ideas, please submit them in one submission.
2. Choose one submission format: a) Submit a link to your website, or b) 3-5 images in a PDF, or c) send 3-5 individual photo files by e-mail in JPEG format at 1200 dpi on the longest side.
FYI, all photos that are submitted will be handled with care and deleted after they are reviewed. However, please note that if you send in photos, Terratory Journal assumes no liability for the images you send or any non-authorized reproduction of images associated with those files. Non-liability extends to all formats of the images, both digital and non-digital, and all necessary forms of handling and storage associated with reviewing the images.
